Description:
In the 2023 First Hackathon Forum, organized by Emirates Schools Establishment, I took on the role of team leader and presenter, guiding my team through an intense and creative problem-solving challenge. The hackathon tasked us with addressing a randomly assigned Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) within a very short timeframe. We were given SDG 9, which focuses on industry, innovation, and infrastructure. Despite having only one hour and no prior research, we quickly developed an innovative solution and translated our ideas onto paper, creating a visually compelling and creative presentation entirely by hand. Our efforts were recognized as we won the Best Presentation award. The challenge of devising a smart and creative solution under such tight constraints taught us the value of quick thinking, teamwork, and adaptability.
